<p>#1 Front Squats &#8211; what? Squats you say? Yes, I said it.  Comparing them to back squats, front squats are very different  . The increased front load places huge demands on your core. Draw the ball back in and repeat.</p>

This is a must for any athlete! Simply drive the bottom knee in towards your chest while keeping the top leg implanted.</p>
<p>#5 Hanging Knee Raises &#8211; this can be done with arm straps holding you in place or you can simply hold a 90 degree pull-up and raise your knees from there. Killer exercise!</p>
<p>#6 Side Plank with Leg Lift &#8211; great core exercise for strengthening the quadratus lumborum (an important lateral spine stabilizer) while strengthening the often neglected hip abductors (ie. glutes).</p>

<p>#8 BOSU Deadbug &#8211; such a great and back-friendly ab exercise even without the BOSU ball. Try it on the BOSU and enter a whole new dimension.</p>
<p>#9 Spiderman Plank &#8211; The plank doesn&#8217;t get much tougher than this . Start in a push-up position and then gently move your feet and hands as far away from your midline as possible. In essence you&#8217;re creating an &#8216;X&#8217; &#8211; like spiderman when he&#8217;s stuck on the side of a building. Get as low to the floor as possible while keeping your arms straight. I hope that you have  gotten   a few   ideas  of how to  perk  up your  everyday  life at home a little bit.  To begin with,  we did the kitchen.  Next  came the bathroom, then the bedroom&#8230;Now we&#8217;re going to  end  it off with the laundry room! If you want to mark a room the knick-knack room, this is  most likely  it.  I&#8217;m  going to  speak  about things that most would  already have , however. (As  opposed  to the random and yet obviously endless provision of x that seems to fall out every time you open the cabinet.)</p>

<p>-Though I am normally  picky  about the  type  of hanger that I use, the wire hanger comes in handy for a surprising amount of tasks. First, you can use these suckers to reach that air-conditioner vent that you can never get to. Or maybe that thing that  dropped  between the refrigerator and cooking stove that you &#8220;keep meaning to  retrieve .&#8221;</p>
<p>-For the kids:  Bend  it into a  big  circle with a handle and amaze them as you make the biggest bubbles they&#8217;ve ever seen! (For the bubbles use one part dish detergent and one part water)</p>
<p>-Fend off that static cling by running the wire between your piece of clothing.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Laundry basket:</p>
<p>-This nifty item can serve as a tote for various beach supplies, then as a table for your picnic lunch later on! I&#8217;m all about the multi-purpose.&nbsp;</p>
<p>-Keep that crazy garden hose captive and stock surplus parts (nozzles, sprinklers, etc) in with it to avoid that 30 minute hunt next time you need it.&nbsp;</p>
<p>-Next time it&#8217;s raining cats and dogs or you get hit by a spontaneous hail storm, put a laundry basket upside down over plants to protect them.&nbsp;</p>
